Police Blotter: Stolen Shopping Cart, Fog Bank Assault and More

Aug. 26:

Battery: A woman was punched in the face at the Fog Bank in Capitola Village at 12:13 a.m.

Vandalism/Defacing Property: An adult male vandalized the restroom of a Capitola Village restaurant at 3:30 p.m.

Aug. 25:

Passing Fictitious Checks: A counterfit bill was used on the 1400 block of 41st Avenue at 11:52 a.m.

Aug. 24: 

Commercial Burglary: The AT&T Store on 41st Avenue in Soquel was broken into over night. 

Grand Theft over $950: A handicap power shopping cart was stolen from Safeway in Soquel at 3:52 p.m.

Possession of Stolen Property/Identity Theft/Heroin Possession: after police found stolen items in their car on 41st Avenue. 

Embezzlement over $400: A male was arrested on the 1800 block of 41st Avenue at 9:19 a.m.

Aug. 22: 

Vehicle Burglary: 4800 block, Capitola Road, 4:40 p.m.

Aug. 21:

Possession of a Narcotic Controlled Substance: 1700 block, 41st Avenue, 9:24 a.m.

Aug. 20:

Inflicting Corporal Injury on Spouse: 200 block, Central Avenue, 9 a.m.

Vandlism/Defacing Property: A wall was spray painted on the 3600 block of Capitola Road at 3:14 p.m.

Petty Theft: A male was arrested on the 4000 block of Capitola Road at 5:34 p.m.

Vandalism with Property Damage: A vehicle was vandalized at Clares Street and 46th Avenue at 6:48 p.m.

Vandalism/Petty Theft: A license plate was stolen from a car on the 4600 block of Diamond Street at 5 p.m.

Under the Influence of a Controlled Substance: 1800 block, 41st Avenue, 8:27 p.m.
