Deadly Capitola Crash Under Investigation

CAPITOLA, CA — Police in Capitola are investigating a collision that left one person dead Tuesday morning. The deadly crash, which involved at least two vehicles, was reported in the intersection of 41st Avenue and Clares Streets at about 10 a.m., according to police.

Police said a female driver was killed during the collision. Investigators asked drivers to avoid the area for several hours while they conducted a “comprehensive accident investigation.”
