Opening night Gold Circle tickets include admission to TBC’s 40th Anniversary reception. “Her stage is a wondrous wayside where mystery unfolds.”—Los Angles Times
Beal’s first local solo concert in 10 years, 40 Odd Moves! is a mix of theatrical works from the present and past in collaboration with composer Jon Scoville. Beal makes sense of this life by making moving images that blend dance, circus, and theatre. With Scoville’s music, their work together is a web of ideas and images—a kinetic and conceptual palette of illusions and allusions combining the serious and the humorous.
