The Live Oak Branch Library will close for renovations beginning August 22nd. The last day the branch will be open for service is Saturday, August 21st.

The Live Oak Branch Library will close for renovations beginning August 22nd. The last day the branch will be open for service is Saturday, August 21st.
The last day to request materials for hold at the Live Oak Branch is August 12th. The last day to pick up materials on hold for you there is August 21st. After that, anything on hold at the branch will be sent to the Capitola Branch for pickup. To change the pickup location to a different branch, log into your account online, call 831-427-7713, or email elibrary@santacruzpl.org.

The renovations, funded by Measure S, revitalizes the children's area, transforming it into an ocean themed learning space. Improvements include a new acoustic wood ceiling and wall treatments, carpeting, and redesigned seating. A custom designed wall will serve to separate the children's collections from an "under-the-sea" inspired reading lounge and homework room. Design by Jayson Architecture.
