Second Glitch In 2 Days On Flights From San Jose Airport: Today Is Landing Gear Issue
The morning flight landed safely in Texas after mechanical problems. A Thursday plane bound for Arizona was diverted to LAX.

A crew is evaluating a possible mechanical problem on an American Airlines flight that departed from San Jose this morning and safely landed in Texas.
American Airlines flight No. 1318 departed from Mineta San Jose International Airport at 7:16 a.m., according to the airport’s website. The flight’s final destination was the Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, where it landed safely, airline officials said.
An indicator light in the plane’s cockpit showed there was a possible mechanical issue with landing gear, according to airline officials.
