Soquel's McGehee Launches Spring Training Comeback

With over 100 RBI in 2010, there was no sign that would struggle mightily in his third season with the Milwaukee Brewers. But that's exactly what happened. 

The 2011 season was far from kind to the third baseman, who struggled to stay above the .200 mark and found himself by the end of the year.

McGehee and the Pirates during the offseason, which brings us to now: Spring Training 2012. And with the new year has come a breath of fresh air for the Santa Cruz native. His numbers are up, and although he's competing for the starting job, he must be encouraged by the apparent improvement from a year ago. See his spring numbers compared to the last year below.
