Soquel Woman Killed in Merced Motor Home Crash

Patricia Garske, 51, of Soquel died on Monday in an accident near Merced.

Two Soquel residents were entangled in a fatal crash on Highway 140 just east of Merced on Monday afternoon.

According to the Merced Sun-Star, Patricia Garske, 51, was driving a motor home with three passengers when a Dodge Dakota heading the other directions drifted and collided into her vehicle head-on.

Garske was killed in the crash and the Sun-Star reported that 16-year-old April Harlamoff of Soquel, was treated for minor injuries.

Also injured were passengers Heather McAllister, 28, of Fremont, and Xavier Hilton, 16, of Santa Cruz. All of the injured parties were flown by medical helicopter to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto.

Ninfa Contreras-Garcia, the Planada man driving the Dodge, was treated for minor injuries at Mercy Medical Center in Merced, the Sun-Sar reported.
