Start a GoFundMe Campaign This Month, and You Could Win $10K for Your Cause or Charity

The #GoBeyondGiving contest runs through Dec. 9. Know a worthy project or person in need?

BAY AREA, CA – GoFundMe, a social fundraising platform, is hosting a holiday contest where campaign organizers -- raising funds for those in need, charities or community improvement projects -- using the hashtag #GoBeyondGiving can win $10,000 for their cause.

β€œNow more than ever, we need to focus on kindness, empathy, and paying it forward by giving back,” said Rob Solomon, chief executive officer of the Peninsula-based GoFundMe. β€œFrom Fidencio the Paleta Man to Chauncy’s Chance, we’ve seen how ordinary people who start GoFundMe campaigns can change someone’s world.”
