Stolen Car Found Near Aptos Village
Two people were arrested in connection with the stolen car, authorities said.

SANTA CRUZ COUNTY, CA — Two men suspected of auto theft were arrested in Santa Cruz County Thursday night. Authorities said deputies discovered an unoccupied, stolen car parked behind the new construction in Aptos Village.
Two men, later identified as Humberto Ortega and Francisco Saavedra, approached the car and were quickly arrested on suspicion of auto theft. One of the two men had the keys to the car in his possession, according to the Santa Cruz County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies returned the car to its owner.
