It is that wonderful time of year again here. The inbetween time. Summer isn't officially here yet, but it is in our hearts. At least it is in my heart. I was walking down by Capitola Beach this week and noticed the sand being shifted around by big sand mover equipment. There is another space being made ready for the lifeguard station to be brought back in for the summer. And I thought about how soon the beach will be filled with children and families; playing, attending camp, and just filling the air with their summer energy. I love the quiet of the winter beach, but I also enjoy the fun of the summer beach. My heart is filled with anticipatory joy during this inbetween time. The days are longer, the sun so beautiful, the sky incredibly blue. I plan to soak up every moment that I can right now. I want to twirl I'm so happy! Welcome dear Summer....we are getting ready for you!
