Suspect Sought For Snapping Photos Of Girl, 7, Showering In Santa Cruz
The child was rinsing off at a public shower near the SC Wharf, police said.

Santa Cruz police are asking the public for help in locating a man who was seen last month taking pictures of a little girl while she showered.
The 7-year-old girl was rinsing off at a public shower near the Santa Cruz Municipal Wharf and Beach Street around 5:10 p.m. on July 13 after a day at the beach and a man was seen taking pictures of her, according to police. An employee from a nearby restaurant alerted the girl’s parents and the suspect fled the area, police said.
Police have released an image of the suspect taken from a security camera in the area and are asking the public for help in identifying and locating him. He is described as a white man in his late 60s who is around 5 feet 8 inches tall with a medium build and white hair. He was wearing a cowboy hat and sleeveless shirt, police said.
