The air that you breathe...

Happy Friday! I love Fridays because they always seem so peaceful to me. There is a sense of winding down, accessing the goals and projects for the week that were met (or not...). A chance to reflect on what went right, how to improve for the next week, and rejoice in knowing there are two whole days to gear up again!

Recently I have been adding the Capitola Wharf to my daily walks. I don't go down there everyday, but really enjoy the days that I do. On the wharf I can sit for a bit and just look out at the water. I can do that on the Esplande too, but from the wharf advantage point, I feel a greater connection to the water. I never learned to swim and actually have a huge fear, so taking lessons never was as easy as it may sound to some. But from the wharf, I feel safe. I feel empowered, I feel the strength of the waves. For water enthusiastics, this probably is hard to understand--this just liking to look....and to breathe. But it is enough for me. More than enough, really. Because after my walks, I know I can accomplish the goals I've set for myself for that day, or week. I am renewed.

Capitola has such lovely views, clean air, nice people living and working here. I am so happy this is the air I get to breathe every day! Enjoy the weekend, everyone! Breathe deeply!
