Wings Over Watsonville - FREE Fly-In, Family-Fun Event: Save The Dates!

The Fly-in fun starts Friday, September 4th at 5:00 p.m. with aircraft arrivals and a kids’ movie night featuring Disney’s “Planes: Fire & Rescue” on the terminal lawn.

Saturday, September 5th, the Fly-in begins with a pancake breakfast, arrivals of antique and historic aircraft and the roll out of Watsonville’s “working aircraft”

We invite our community to see what an incredible asset the Watsonville Municipal Airport is for our region. The economic value and benefit of our airport becomes clear when our citizens can see that the airport is more than just a fenced-in area.

“Wings Over Watsonville” event is a new, free fly-in that opens the gates of the airport to our community. The event will include aerial activities, including “fly-bys,” introductory aircraft and helicopter rides, free flights for children ages 8 to 17 from EAA Chapter 119 on a first come, first served basis with parent signed waiver, parachute demonstrations, learn-to-fly seminars and more! Enjoy delicious food from area vendors. Doors open Saturday, September 5th, 2015 at 8:00 a.m.
