2 Arrested For Shooting Gun Inside Carlsbad Apartment: Police
Two men were arrested on suspicion of firing a gun inside a Carlsbad apartment, police said.
CARLSBAD, CA — Two men were arrested on suspicion of firing a gun inside a Carlsbad apartment, but no injuries were reported, police said Tuesday.
Dispatchers received a call around 3:20 p.m. Monday from a person who reported hearing gunfire inside an apartment in the 2000 block of Cassia Road, near El Camino Real, Carlsbad Police Lt. Greg Koran said.
Officers responded to the scene, but found that two people inside the apartment unit had fled.

Police searched the area with the help of a San Diego County Sheriff's Department helicopter and eventually located the two men in the pool area of an apartment complex in the 1900 block of Cassia Road, Koran said.
The two Carlsbad residents, 25-year-old Christian Sims and 20-year-old Edoardo Fenzi, were both arrested on suspicion of being a felon in possession of a firearm and conspiracy to commit a crime, the lieutenant said, adding that they were booked into the Vista Detention Facility.
