Boy Scout, Joseph Hamblin, Completes Eagle Scout Project..
Joseph Hamblin of Troop 668, Escondido CA has completed his Eagle Scout Project for the Lorraine H. Boyce Child Development Center in Escondido. Joseph's Eagle Scout Project was to build steel fences to prevent the children from going to the back end of the center where they are not visible and it is dangerous. This project has greatly increase the safety of the center. As part of the Eagle Scout requirements, Joseph had to select a project that would benefit the community, determine the scope and design of the project, solicited donations to cover material costs, and construct the project. Joseph Hamblin, 17, will be a Senior at Mission Hills High School, San Marcos this fall.
