Aggua Family Fun Fest

Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation (AHLF) will hold its first annual children’s gala, Aggua Family Fun Fest, from 3:00 to 5:00 p.m. on August 27 at the Discovery Center, 1580 Cannon Road, Carlsbad. The event is presented by the Rincon Band of Luiseño Indians.

“Our theme is based on The Addams Family,”Lisa Rodman, Chief Executive Officer of the Foundation stated. “We wanted to include the children this year because our annual gala is all about raising funds to expand our award-winning educational programs which serve over 6,900 children throughout the county.”

The Discovery Center will be transformed into the famous Addams Family mansion. Attendees are encouraged to dress as one of the Addams Family characters or one of their favorite Aggua animal ambassadors. The family-friendly event will feature activities for children including a SLIME experiment by Thermo Fisher Scientific, a tour of the mansion (Discovery Center) and a magic show by the Meigs Family Foundation.
