Little Explorers Festival Planned At Carlsbad Shopping Center

CARLSBAD, CA — Families can kick off the start of summer at a free Little Explorers Festival on June 20 at Plaza Paseo Real in Carlsbad.

Organizers said the festival will feature hands-on activities, music and interactive entertainment for children of all ages.

Activity stations will include a Mini Makeover Station where children can decorate tote bags and a Color Chemistry Station where kids can create take-home "liquid science" bottles using color mixing, density layering, glitter and pipettes.

Attendees can also visit the Explorer Prize Station for giveaway items while supplies last.

The event is scheduled from 10 a.m. to noon in the shopping center's upper-level courtyard at 6941-6985 El Camino Real.
