CARLSBAD, CA — The Carlsbad Chamber of Commerce has received the 2026 President's Circle Award from the California Chamber of Commerce, marking the fifth time in the past six years the organization has earned the statewide recognition.
The award, presented June 10 during the California Business Outlook event, recognizes local chambers that demonstrate excellence in business advocacy and partner with CalChamber on policies affecting employers.
The Carlsbad Chamber was one of 20 local chambers and business organizations statewide to receive the award this year.
"This recognition reflects our ongoing commitment to being a strong advocate for the business community," Carlsbad Chamber President and CEO Bret Schanzenbach said in a statement. "We are proud to represent the interests of our members at the local, regional, and state levels while providing the resources and support businesses need to succeed."
The President's Circle Award recognizes chambers of commerce that advocate for local businesses and work with CalChamber to represent employers' interests in state legislative and regulatory issues.
The Carlsbad Chamber serves businesses throughout North County by providing advocacy, workforce development, leadership programs, networking opportunities and other business resources.
