Prosecutors said Webb had a blood-alcohol level of around 0.10% and ran a red light at Piraeus Street at around 5:20 a.m. that day, striking and overturning Davison's pickup truck that was traveling along La Costa Avenue.

Davison was taken to a hospital, where he died.

Webb, who initially faced a murder charge, is slated to be sentenced next month.
