Jolane Crawford has rejoined Schubach Aviation as its business development manager, announced Henry Schubach, president and founder of the leading San Diego air charter company.
A 19-year veteran of the aviation industry, Crawford will oversee the company’s ongoing community outreach and new business development efforts. She is charged with identifying appropriate sponsorship and philanthropic activities, forming cross-promotion partnerships with other companies that cater to high-end clientele, and personally communicating with existing customers to ensure top-notch flight service.
Most recently, Crawford served two years as business development and charter sales director for another charter operator in San Diego, where she performed similar responsibilities. Her prior aviation industry experience includes having served six-and-a-half years with Schubach Aviation, during which time her primary role had been charter sales and client services. She was first introduced to aviation in 1992 at AirTime Aviation, a flight school and aircraft maintenance company based at Palomar Airport, where she managed scheduling, accounting, payroll, customer service and staff.

Recently, Crawford co-chaired the second annual “Jammin Under the Stars”, a fundraising gala hosted by the Jammer Family Foundation at a private estate in Fairbanks Ranch. For many years, she has been devoted to serving on committees for various other local charitable organizations, including the Jammer Foundation, Casa De Amparo, AFE-Athletes for Education, Burn Institute, Scripps Foundation-Circle of Life, and San Pasqual Academy, most of which are devoted to helping disadvantaged youth in San Diego County.
Crawford’s core business philosophy is to treat everyone with respect and surround yourself with like-minded and successful people. “I’ve found that people do business with people they like and who like them,” said Crawford. “In this business, it is all about connections, and I pride myself in developing long-term personal and professional relationships.”
