Through an innovative addition to Mission Fed’s popular “Mission 4 R Schools” program, members can now donate their credit card points to any of over 1,000 Mission Fed-approved local schools through a new Mission Rewards program. “Points for Schools” is available as one of the many ways members can redeem their points. And to make it easy, everything can be done via the Mission Rewards link on the Mission Fed website, https://www.missionfed.com/mission-federal-credit-cards.
“This is an easy way for members to give to their children’s schools with just a few clicks, and aligns with all of Mission Fed’s donation programs for supporting our local schools,” said Tricia Link, vice president of community relations and external affairs, Mission Federal Credit Union. “And the best part is that free Mission Rewards can also be added to both MasterCard™ Platinum and Classic Credit Cards.”
Through the “Mission 4 R Schools” initiative, close to 1000 San Diegans opened accounts for area schools. For every new qualifying account opened, Mission Federal deposited $25 in the new member’s account, and also made a matching $25 donation to the new member's school of choice. Since inception, Mission Fed has donated more than $12,000 across 346 local schools through the “Mission 4 R Schools” program.
Mission Federal is a proud and longstanding supporter of San Diego County schools, teachers, students and parents who make up the fabric of our educational system.
