San Diego Center for Children “Walk For Kids” Scheduled for November 5th

The San Diego Center for Children will hold its annual Walk For Kids on Saturday, November 5th 2011 on scenic Mission Bay.

The event course starts at the grass area at the South end of the Crown Point Drive parking area and eventually curves north along Riviera shores, returning on the same path back to the starting area. Event check-in begins at 7 a.m. and the 5K walk begins at 8 a.m. Donations are encouraged and dogs are welcome until 9:00 a.m.

Proceeds from the Walk For Kids will support The Center’s mission of helping children thrive whose trauma, abuse or mental health challenges have delayed their ability to succeed.
