Atmel Tech on Tour Truck Wows Calavera Hills Middle School Students

The Atmel Tech on Tour Truck pulled into the parking lot at Calavera Hills Middle School, and students were treated to two days of discovery. The mobile classroom/hands-on discovery center was full of exciting new technologies. Students controlled drones, viewed a microbot demonstration, tried out virtual reality goggles, interacted with a 3-D printer, and typed on a keyboard that was projected onto a tabletop.

This experience was made possible by Atmel, which uses this mobile lab to train designers and engineers to use its micro controllers and Internet of Things technologies.
