AT&T's Mustache-Must-Have Apps for Movember

Movember is a global event that encourages men to grow out their mustaches to support men’s health programs that combat prostate and testicular cancer and mental health challenges. In honor of this event, AT&T is offering a list of some great mustache-related apps available on their mobile devices.

Last year more than 1.1 million people worldwide participated in the 30 days of Movember, asking friends and family to follow their mustache progress online and donate to their efforts.

The five mustache-must-have apps below can help users track their stache growth, share “hair” styles with others and support the Movember cause.

AT&T Apps For Movember

1) Movember Mobile

Movember Mobile is the official app for Movember 2013. The app connects users to the online “Mo Space” with all the tools to track and manage Movember campaigns on the go. App users can monitor their Movember newsfeeds,  track donations, post comments and pictures to Mo Space and social media, recruit friend to participate and take a daily mustache photos that can be shared at the end of the month in a time lapse video. Free for Apple and Android.

2) Mustache Me

The Mustache Me app lets you dress your friends faces up with a variety of glorious mustaches. The process is simple: choose a photo from your photo library, or take one with your camera. Once you've selected a photo, choose from a list of mustaches and drag it on to the picture. You can resize and rotate it once applied. With this app, the possibilities of mustache-fun are endless. Free for Apple and Android. 

3) Mustache Wisdom (*my personal favorite!)

The Mustache Wisdom app is home to six all-knowing mustaches, ready to answer any of your “yes” or “no” questions. Each with a different hilarious persona, the six staches will speak when they’re spoken to, poked scratched or tickled. With the Mustache Wisdom app, all of your most important decisions in life can be made with the help of an all-knowing, all-powerful, talking mustache. Free for Apple.

4) Super Mustache

Super Mustache is an interactive app that allows you to appear as if you have your own mustache. Hold the phone up under your nose with your screen facing towards your friends. When you talk, a pair a lips adorned with a mustache will move as if they were your own. Cost is $1.50 on Android.  

5) BoothStache

The BoothStache app allows you to instantly place a nose tickler on any one you know. Just choose a photo from your photo library, or taken with your camera, and BoothStache will use face detection to automatically adjust the color of the mustache for a more realistic result. With over 16 styles to choose from, this app is a perfect way to try on some mustaches before growing one out. Free for Apple and Android.
