Lagoona Kahuna Family Cleanup

Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation’s (AHLF) Lagoona Kahuna Family Cleanup is on Saturday, May 2, 2026, at California Watersports, 4215 Harrison Street, Carlsbad, from 10 a.m. to noon.  California Watersports is the venue sponsor.

The Lagoona Kahuna Family Cleanup is a fun, environmentally friendly initiative on the lagoon where individuals, duos and families spend the morning cleaning up trash and invasive weeds, playing family-friendly games, and participating in a scavenger hunt.

The cleanup takes place via kayak, paddle board or on the shoreline. Participants receive a logoed T-shirt and will be treated to pizza and beer from Pizza Port and snacks.

Proceeds will benefit AHLF’s award-winning environmental educational program serving 12 school districts across the county. The event also impacts The Discovery Campus, a teaching hub where 62,000 guests interact annually.
