Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation Discovery Gala 2026 – “DC Disco”

This year’s Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation’s Discovery Gala 2026, themed “DC Disco,” and celebrating the 20^th anniversary of the Discovery Campus, will be from 5:30 to 10:00 p.m. on Saturday, August 29 at the Westin Carlsbad Resort & Spa, 5480 Grand Pacific Drive, Carlsbad. Neda Iranpour, Emmy award-winning journalist, will emcee the event.

The gala will include a delectable three-course dinner followed by a live auction. Guests can attend the after party featuring an LED dance floor and games.

Festivities include an online silent auction beginning August 14 at 8 a.m.

This year’s community minded honoree, the Rotary Club of Carlsbad, will be recognized for their volunteerism and service which directly supports environmental stewardship, education, and public access efforts at the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation.

Ticket sales started May 20 to honor the 20^th anniversary of the Discovery Campus. Proceeds will provide continued support for the Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation's award-winning environmental education programs and operations of the Discovery Campus.
