CALIFORNIA BANK & TRUST RELOCATES TO A BRAND NEW OFFICE LOCATION WITH A NEWLY ADDED NORTH COUNTY CORPORATE BANKING GROUP

California Bank & Trust (CB&T)  has relocated their Carlsbad office from 2141 Palomar Airport Road to a new office less than one mile away, in the newly constructed Palomar Commons shopping center at 2501 Palomar Airport Road. In addition to being a larger and newer branch, it will also house the North County Corporate Banking Group. The new branch location opened to the public on August 5th and is the first anchor store to open at the new shopping center.

CB&T Names Carlsbad Management Team

CB&T has named two key leaders of the new Carlsbad branch team: Randy Ferren, Vice President and Branch Manager and Kerry Ross Senior Vice President and Manager of North County Corporate Banking Group.

“The CB&T team is excited to relocate to a brand new building in a convenient location that our customers will really enjoy,” said Randy Ferren. “We’re investing in the Carlsbad community and look forward to continuing our commitment to our customers and the growth of the North County economy from our new location.”

Ferren previously served as the branch manager of the 2141 Palomar location and brings 18 years of credit analysis, commercial lending and business management to the Palomar Commons branch.

“We are very pleased to provide the North County with a single location for their consumer, small business and corporate banking needs,” said Kerry Ross. “We are growing our commercial banking team to serve Carlsbad’s business community, which includes a great mix of larger corporations and small businesses.”  Ross brings nearly 40 years of corporate and commercial lending experience to the Palomar Commons office. Previously, Ross was the vice president and branch manager of CB&T’s Vista location.

The Palomar Commons center will also include a Lowe’s Home Improvement, and a collection of restaurants such as Jersey Mike’s Subs, Panera Bread, Chipotle’s Mexican Grill and more.
