Captivating Carlsbad Sunset: Photo Of The Day

CARLSBAD, CA — Patch reader Dan Bejma captured this captivating sunset at Carlsbad State Beach. The photo was taken from his vehicle on Coast Highway.

"To add to the color, the Valley Fire had just started to send smoke our way that day making for an interesting orange glow," he explained. "With the cars, surfer and ocean, it encompasses what we all love about California."
