Carlsbad City Library seeks teens for upcoming talent show

Calling all teens! Carlsbad City Library’s ninth annual Teen Talent Shows wrap up on Aug. 8 at 7 p.m. with a competition highlighting talents such as instrumental music, monologues and skits. Performances are free and open to the public so join us in cheering on local teens.

Students going into 7th through 12th grade are invited to participate and registration is free. The competitors will be judged by a three-person panel. Prizes will be awarded to all contestants, and the top three finishers will receive special prizes.

“The first two talent shows, for singing and dancing, featured more than 25 local teens. For this last show, we usually see an impressive array of talents, everything from guitarists to comedians to yo-yo routines,” said Teen Librarian Darin Williamson.
