Carlsbad Communications Operator Named 'Dispatcher Of Year'

CARLSBAD CA –Elizabeth Pinedo, Communications Operator II with the City of Carlsbad, was named "Dispatcher of the Year" by the San Diego Association of Public Safety Dispatchers at the 16th Annual Dispatcher Appreciation Banquet held Saturday.

"Elizabeth received the honor as she exemplifies the best in public-safety dispatching," the Calrsbad Police Department said. "She excels in the high-pressure environment of dispatching and is highly skilled at helping officers and the community through critical situations.

"Elizabeth’s skill, dedication and commitment to excellence reflects positively on the dispatch profession and on everyone who has chosen this career. We are so proud to have Elizabeth as part of #teamCarlsbad. Well done!"
