Carlsbad Film Series Presents "Birdman"

“Birdman” (2014, R, 119 min.) - A washed up actor (Michael Keaton), who once played an iconic superhero, battles his ego and attempts to recover his family, his career and himself in the days leading up to the opening of the Broadway play he has wrote, backed, directed and stars in. This film has been nominated for nine Academy awards, including Best Picture of the Year. The Carlsbad Film Series takes place the last three Wednesdays of the month.
