Carlsbad Film Series Presents "Interstellar"

Wednesday, April 29 at 6 p.m. inside the Ruby G. Schulman Auditorium at Carlsbad City Library

Interstellar (2014, PG-13, 169 min.) - In the near future, Earth has been devastated by drought and famine, causing scarcity in food and extreme changes in climate. A group of explorers must travel beyond our solar system in search of a planet that can sustain life before humanity becomes extinct. This sci-fi film is based on the science of black holes and gravity waves and has been nominated for five Academy Awards. The Carlsbad Film Series takes place the last three Wednesdays of the month.
