“Still Alice” (2014, PG-13, 101 min.) - In this Academy Award and Golden Globe winning film, a linguistics professor (Julianne Moore) and her family find their bonds tested when she is diagnosed with early-onset Alzheimer’s disease. Based on Lisa Genova’s bestselling novel of the same name. Also starring Alec Baldwin, Kristen Stewart and Kate Bosworth. The Carlsbad Film Series takes place the last three Wednesdays of the month at the Carlsbad City Library.
