Carlsbad Film Series Presents "Whiplash"

“Whiplash” (2014, R, 105 min.) - A promising young drummer enrolls at a cut-throat music conservatory where his dreams of greatness are mentored by an instructor who will stop at nothing to realize a student’s potential. This film has been nominated for five Academy awards, including Best Picture of the Year. The Carlsbad Film Series takes place the last three Wednesdays of the month.
