Missing Carlsbad Girl Found Safe: Sheriff's Dept.
Helicopters circled the area of Poinsettia Lane, searching for a missing 13-year-old Tuesday afternoon.
CARLSBAD, CA —Helicopters circled Carlsbad seeking a missing girl Tuesday, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department. She was ultimately found shortly before 1 p.m., according to reports.
The 13-year-old Carlsbad girl was reported missing Tuesday morning in the area of Carrillo Elementary School on Poinsettia Lane in Carlsbad, according to the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
Authorities did not disclose her whereabouts during the absence, only sharing that she was found safe and reunited with her family.
