Carlsbad HS Wins $100K in State Farm 'Celebrate My Drive' Campaign

The CHS Drumline, Lancer Dancers, Cheerleaders, and the entire student body celebrated with CHSTV as the school received a check for $100,000 from State Farm.

Carlsbad High School was one of nearly 700 high schools from across the USA to enter the Celebrate My Drive Contest.

Based on their 30-second video submission, they were selected as one of 100 finalists. Thanks to incredible community support, Carlsbad High School scored enough votes online to not only be among the twenty-two high schools to win the $100,000 award, but to be selected as the Grand Prize Winner.

As the grand prize winner, the students will be treated to a private concert by the popular band Echosmith.

CHSTV will begin to produce short films and videos to raise student (and parent) awareness re: the dangers of distracted driving. The videos produced will be distributed nationwide.
