Carlsbad's 'Aloha Plunge' Returns With Island Themed Family Fun

CARLSBAD, CA — Carlsbad residents will be in for another warm weekend but locals can cool down and enjoy island-themed fun this Saturday as the Aloha Plunge returns to the Alga Norte Aquatic Center.

The summertime soiree will include island-themed food, games and pool activities, floating obstacles, a tropical bounce house and limbo. The event will end with a Polynesian dance performance. Audience members will have the opportunity to participate and learn the hula.

The aquatic center will welcome guests at 5 p.m. and the show will end at 8 p.m. Tickets are $10 per person and children under 3 are free. Organizers encouraged those interested to snag a ticket in advance, but tickets will also be available at the door.
