Carlsbad's 'Snores & S'mores Family Campout' Returns In August
The family campout will feature games, a movie, s'mores and a barbecue dinner at Aviara Community Park.
CARLSBAD, CA — Carlsbad families can enjoy a night under the stars when the city's Snores & S'mores family campout returns Aug. 14-15 to Aviara Community Park.
Roast marshmallows, play games and watch the movie, "Finding Nemo," all while camping out in a neighborhood park. The family campout will also include a barbecue dinner, breakfast and an optional early morning hike on one of Carlsbad's scenic trails.
The event will take place from 5 p.m. Aug. 14 to 9 a.m. Aug. 15 at Aviara Community Park at 6435 Ambrosia Lane.

Advanced registration is required by 11 p.m. Aug. 13. The event is $25 per person and is free for children 3 and younger with all activities and food included.
