A new study has found that the Carlsbad-San Diego-San Marcos metro area is one of the hottest places for interstate movers.
In 2012, 12 percent of Americans moved homes, with many making interstate moves. A new study from consumer advocacy website NerdWallet ranked the Carlsbad-San Diego-San Marcos metro as the 19th most popular location for new residents from out-of-state. The area attracted 68,283 people in 2011, the year of the most recent mobility data.
Other locations in the top 25 include Tampa Bay and Colorado Springs. Check out the full list here.
