Kids create out of this world super heroes in one of a kind comic books at COSMIC COMICS!, starting June 24, the first week of the six week CEF Summer Enrichment Program for students in K to 9th grades. Students will sharpen their storytelling skills and then their pencils to illustrate their own unique characters. Next they'll learn to use digital design to bring their stories to life in real comic books. Imaginations will be activated by super hands-on activities, awesome games and creative critical thinking. WOW! Super fun!
Young authors will also love The Book Writer's Club with renowned author of the "Good Knight" series, Shelley Thomas. Students will become authors and create their own books in this favorite CEF summer offering. Shelley engages young authors in a variety of creative writing projects that inspire imagination, teach new skills and new writing styles. Students will also learn to illustrate their stories and by week-end be authors of their own book to take home. Don't miss this chance to take a great class with a great local author!
