Discovery Days Returning To The Forum Carlsbad With Free Family Fun

CARLSBAD, CA — Discovery Days is returning to The Forum Carlsbad this July, bringing a month of free family-friendly activities, live entertainment, special guests and hands-on learning experiences for children.
The free weekly summer program will focus on a different theme each week, including superheroes, marine life, dinosaurs, space and insects.
The series kicks off July 2 with an Independence Day celebration featuring Captain America, performances by the Star-Spangled Sisters and a patriotic bracelet-making activity.

Other events include an ocean-themed program led by a marine biologist on July 9, a dinosaur presentation with a paleontologist on July 16, a space exploration event with an astronaut on July 23, and an insect-themed program on July 30.

Children will have the opportunity to participate in themed craft activities during each event. Crafts are limited to one per guest while supplies last, and adult supervision is required, according to organizers.

Families also can enjoy a snack station hosted by Jimbo's and complimentary coloring books provided by Rylee + Cru.
"We love seeing the excitement each Discovery Days event brings to our community," said Karis Ashton, marketing manager for The Forum Carlsbad. "The series encourages children to be curious, ask questions and interact with the world around them in memorable ways."
Discovery Days will take place from 10 a.m. to noon every Thursday in the shopping center's garden area near YETI.
