30 years in the making, San Diego's Central Library is now adding unique wedding venue to its list of stand out features.
Completed at a cost of just under $185 million, the new library at 330 Park Boulevard is located in San Diego's East Village neighborhood downtown, and is close to Petco Park - home of the San Diego Padres.
The library's amenities include:

- Three-story domed reading room
- 333-seat, west-facing multi-purpose room
- 3,797-square-foot Teen Center
- 9,141-square-foot Children’s Room
- Technology Center
- 163 square foot Café
- Co-located Charter High School, e3 Civic High, with space for approximately 500 students on 6th and 7th floor of building
- 250 on-site parking spaces
The floor to ceiling glass of the Helen Price Reading room and the library's dome terrace offer breath-taking views of the entire city. Pelican's Perch - a small landing nine stories up with nothing below but air - serves as a unique site for wedding portraits.
