'Encrusted In Diamonds': Photo Of The Day

CARLSBAD, CA — Patch reader John Skoglund captured this photo of a succulent in his garden in Carlsbad. It looked as if the plant was "encrusted in diamonds," he said.

"This was taken the morning after the recent rain storm, couple weeks back," he said.
