3rd Annual Veteran's Day Parade (Army and Navy Academy)

Join the Carlsbad Rotary Club and the Army and Navy Academy Corps of Cadets for our 3rd Annual Carlsbad Veterans Day Parade held at: 11 a.m. – Noon, Friday, Nov. 11, 2011  at the Army and Navy Academy Maffucci Field, 2605 Carlsbad Blvd. (located directly across Carlsbad Blvd. from Academy campus).

Festivities honoring Veteran’s Day will include…

  • Military pass in review parade by 300-plus cadets in full dress uniform
  • Wreath presentation by Veterans of the Korean Conflict
  • Remarks by Col. M.G. Naylor, USMC, Deputy Commander,
  • Marine Corps Installations (MCI) West
  • “Taps”
  • Flyover of vintage combat aircraft

Hot dogs and hamburgers fundraiser by Academy’s (Rotary) Interact Club, sponsored by Carlsbad Rotary will be available for a donation during the event. Coffee and cake will be complimentary to attendees after the parade.

This is a great photo/video opportunities of cadet corps passing in review and other activities listed above during hour-long event. Event shows a spirit of cooperation and working together between Carlsbad Rotary Club and the Army and Navy Academy to honor our Veteran's.
