3rd Annual Veteran's Day Parade (Army and Navy Academy)

Join the Carlsbad Rotary Club and the Army and Navy Academy Corps of Cadets for our 3^rd Annual Carlsbad Veterans Day Parade held at: 11 a.m. – Noon, Friday, Nov. 11, 2011  at the Army and Navy Academy Maffucci Field, 2605 Carlsbad Blvd. (located directly across Carlsbad Blvd. from Academy campus).

Festivities honoring Veteran’s Day will include…

• Military pass in review parade by 300-plus cadets in full dress uniform
• Wreath presentation by Veterans of the Korean Conflict
• Remarks by Col. M.G. Naylor, USMC, Deputy Commander,
• Marine Corps Installations (MCI) West
• “Taps”
• Flyover of vintage combat aircraft

Hot dogs and hamburgers fundraiser by Academy’s (Rotary) Interact Club, sponsored by Carlsbad Rotary will be available for a donation during the event. Coffee and cake will be complimentary to attendees after the parade. 

This is a great photo/video opportunities of cadet corps passing in review and other activities listed above during hour-long event. Event shows a spirit of cooperation and working together between Carlsbad Rotary Club and the Army and Navy Academy to honor our Veteran's.
