Magic the Gathering started in 1993, in 2003 Magic was named to the Games Hall of Fame, today, 2011, there are over 6 million players worldwide in 70 countries. Magic is the most popular and successful trading card game of all time. Players draw cards, use logic and develop tactics and strategies to try to win in an entertaining and safe environment. Magic is very much like Chess. Magic Card Night is also fun, educational (reading, math, logic) as well as social.
Come and check it out on Friday Night Dec. 2, from 6:30pm-8:30pm at It's Academic Tutoring Center. Join Ben, as he teaches you how to play the game. Ben has been involved in many Magic Card leagues and tournaments and has been playing Magic Cards for over 10 years. He can easily teach the beginner as well as the advanced player new strategies in this fascinating game. It's fun, educational and social and it doesn't involve a computer! Kids love it and are hooked on the first night! Please RSVP to Jamie at 760 761-3692 or itsacademictutoring.jamie@yahoo.com.
