Mity Basketballers-Pee Wee Basketball The junior basketball program is for boys and girls in the first or second grade. This program will provide a framework for sportsmanship and fair play, while teaching the fundamentals of the sport. All practices and games will be at Calavera Hills Community Center, played on a court with eight foot baskets with a junior size basketball (27.5). Children will meet two days a week for one hour during the afternoon, with practice on Tuesdays and games on Thursdays (3:30-6:30). Players must attend an assessment on March 24th at Calavera Hills Community Center,between 10 am -11:30 am in order to make balanced teams. Fees are $85 for Carlsbad residents and $95 for non-Carlsbad residents. Volunteer coaches will be needed.
