Fall Art & Wine Walk Returning To The Forum Carlsbad

The annual event will feature local artists, complimentary wine tastings, live acoustic music and a cheese-wheel demonstration.

CARLSBAD, CA — The Forum Carlsbad will host its annual Fall Art & Wine Walk on Sept. 12, featuring local artists, complimentary wine tastings, live acoustic music and a cheese-wheel demonstration.

The event is scheduled from 2 to 5 p.m. at the outdoor shopping center. Guests can browse artwork displayed at participating stores and restaurants and meet artists throughout the afternoon.

"The Fall Art & Wine Walk is one of our favorite opportunities to gather as a community and celebrate the incredible creativity found throughout our region and beyond," Karis Ashton, marketing manager at The Forum Carlsbad, said in a statement.

Wine tastings will be available to guests 21 and older at the Wine Garden near YETI. The event will feature nine wines from California, Oregon, Washington, Italy and France, presented in partnership with Massanois, Opici and Vino Norte.

Mirabelle Charcuterie will serve an assortment of bites, alongside samples of Jimbo's Asparagus Parmesan Pistachio Salad.

A featured highlight will be a live demonstration of Parmigiano Reggiano wheel cracking led by Certified Cheese Professional Eric Meredith. Meredith will open a full wheel of organic Parmigiano Reggiano, with samples offered following the demonstration.

Live acoustic music by Freddie Walton will be performed throughout the event.

Donations will be accepted at the Wine Garden for Shelter to Soldier, a San Diego-area nonprofit that trains shelter dogs as psychiatric service dogs for post-9/11 veterans. The organization also places emotional support animals with active-duty military members and veterans.

Participating retailers will feature artists and creative activities, including a create-your-own Lego buildable figure experience at Geppetto's and an edible painting demonstration at SusieCakes. Other participating retailers include Anthropologie, Madewell, McConnell's Fine Ice Creams, Outerknown, The Henry, Warby Parker and YETI.

Additional artists will display their work in common areas throughout The Forum Carlsbad. Participating artists include Angela Palacios, Artisan Collective, Gather Wild, Inger Larson, Jessica Fuller, Joanna Barratt, Kelly Villasenor and Leticia Demeuse.

The event is free to attend. The Forum Carlsbad is at 1923 Calle Barcelona in Carlsbad.
