Fire Damages Taco Shop In North County

VISTA, CA — A second alarm fire substantially damaged a taco shop in a strip mall in Vista Monday evening.

Firefighters were called just before 8 p.m. to La Gordy's Taco Shop in the 1400 block of North Santa Fe Avenue, near Bobier Drive, where they encountered flames coming from the front of the shop, according to News Flash Media, a video news service.

The fire was extinguished around 9:25 p.m.

At least one other business was damaged and no injuries were reported.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
