How To Drop Off Your Ballot In Carlsbad

CARLSBAD, CA — There's still time to drop off your vote-by-mail ballot in Carlsbad.
More than 1.9 million ballots for the June 7 primary election were sent out to registered voters in May in San Diego County, according to the San Diego Registrar of Voters office.
To vote by mail, voters need to mark the ballot, place the ballot inside the official return envelope, seal the envelope, and sign and date the envelope. Ballots must be postmarked on or before Election Day on Tuesday.

Ballots can be sent through the mail at a U.S. Postal Service office or collection box. Ballots can also be dropped off at one of the 132 official mail ballot drop-off locations around the county.

- Agua Hedionda Lagoon Foundation/Discovery Center: 1580 Cannon Road
- Carlsbad City Library Learning Center: 3368 Eureka Place
- Georgina Cole Library: 1250 Carlsbad Village Drive
- Carlsbad City Library: 1775 Dove Lane
Voters can also choose to vote in person. All 218 vote center locations will be open from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Election Day. Any voter who is in line at a ballot drop box location or vote center at 8 p.m. will be allowed to vote, according to the Registrar of Voters office.
