Lego SoFi Stadium Coming To Legoland California

It will take a team of 25 builders over 6,000 hours and over 500,000 LEGO bricks to complete the model, according to LEGOLAND officials.

CARLSBAD, CA — With the Super Bowl at SoFi Stadium just days away, LEGOLAND California Resort announced that a LEGO model of the Inglewood stadium will soon be installed at the theme park in Carlsbad.

The addition of LEGO SoFi Stadium will kick off the expansion of the Southern California section of Miniland U.S.A., with more LEGO models slated this year.

"SoFi Stadium is an architectural marvel and is considered one of the most innovative NFL stadiums in the entire league, making it an obvious choice for our first addition in the expanded Southern California region of Miniland U.S.A.," said Kurt Stocks, president of LEGOLAND California Resort.

The LEGO model will be more than 30 feet long, 15 feet wide and over 4 feet tall, according to theme park officials. The new SoFi Stadium is expected to be the largest LEGO stadium in the world. In fact, it is on track to break the Guinness World Record for the largest LEGO sculpture of a stadium, which is currently held by LEGOLAND Deutschland Resort for a replica of Munich's Allianz Arena.

It will take a team of 25 master model builders more than 6,000 hours and over 500,000 LEGO bricks to complete the final model of SoFi Stadium before it is installed this spring, according to LEGOLAND officials. It is slated to be installed one month after the Super Bowl is held.

"The anticipation of Super Bowl LVI taking place at the life-sized SoFi Stadium in February makes this build even more special for us," Stocks said.
